At our Annual Meeting:

We will discuss our financial and organizational status, review the past year and look toward Gaylesta's future. As a part of this meeting we will nominate and elect our 2023/2024 board. Gaylesta will have several openings in the upcoming term. Board service will allow you to take a more active role in the direction of the organization and help propel our organization, our members and the greater LGBTQ+ communities forward. It's a wonderful opportunity to network with like minded clinicians, increase your knowledge of board service in general and enhance your CV. If you have questions, feel free to reach out to any current board member or simply bring your questions to the meeting. The meeting is also a great opportunity to meet and mingle with colleagues while being able to share your thoughts about Gaylesta's future while networking your own practice.

Sex Therapy and 2SLGBTQIA+ Clients

For the CE component of the day (2 CEUs), Dr. Roger J. Kuhn will give an overview on Sex Therapy and 2SLGBTQIA+ Clients. Sex therapy is a multidisciplinary mental health treatment option for people who are experiencing issues relating to their sexual health and vitality.  Sex therapy encompasses treatment interventions for individuals, couples, and those who experience multiple relationships.  In this workshop, AASECT certified sex therapist, Roger Kuhn, PhD, will share foundational interventions and new theoretical models that are used in sex therapy as they relate to those who identify as 2SLGBTQIA+.
