Hi Gaylestans,

The 5th annual Bearrison Street Fair comes to SOMA on Saturday, October 18! We’re looking for your help engaging our community while marketing Gaylesta and your practice at this celebration on inclusion and body positivity produced by the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence and the Bears of San Francisco. This will be the first time Gaylesta has a presence at Bearrison!

We’re seeking Gaylesta members to volunteer for set up, breakdown, and 2-hour shifts at our booth and table at the event. Note: set up and breakdown times may change depending on event logistics and the exact location of our booth will be provided closer to the event date.

Volunteering at the booth is a great way to market yourself and Gaylesta and to get to know other folks in the organization. It's also a fun way to enjoy the festivities while having a home base and some relief from the crowds. Simply show up with your business cards and some energy to socialize with Gaylesta members and attendees!

We’ll provide chairs, sunscreen, water and snacks at our booth. Please bring anything else you might want to enjoy the fair comfortably! You’ll be able to store gear at the booth during the fair in case you want to pack a costume change.
